Privacy Policy
Rocket On · last updated 28 October 2026 · 中文
Short version: Rocket On is an offline game. It has no accounts, no server, and no analytics — gameplay and progress never leave your device. The only thing that talks to the internet is the Google AdMob ad SDK, which processes device and ad-interaction data to show and measure the rewarded videos. You can refuse ad tracking and still play the whole game.
Who publishes this app
Rocket On ("the app", "we") is published by the individual developer behind the Rocket On listing on the App Store. Contact: mqqfps@163.com. This policy covers the iOS app and this website only; it does not cover other stores or the web version of the game.
What we collect
Nothing. We operate no backend, and the game code makes no network requests of its own. There is no sign-up, no profile, no name, no email, no contact list, no photos, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no health data, and no location permission request. We cannot see your score, your level progress, or how you play, and we have nowhere to receive it.
What is stored on your device
- Game progress and settings — unlocked levels, stars, in-game currency, purchases-of-record, sound and language preferences. Stored inside the app's own sandbox using standard iOS storage.
- Ad state — how many rewarded videos you have already watched today, kept locally to enforce the daily limit.
- A share card image — a screenshot-style PNG written to the app's cache folder, created only at the moment you tap Share, and handed straight to the iOS share sheet. We never receive it, and it is deleted with the cache.
If you have iCloud Backup or a computer backup turned on, your iPhone may include this app's data in that backup. That backup is between you and Apple's/iTunes' backup service under their own terms — we do not provide, host, or read it, and there is no sync of your progress through us.
Third parties that process data
The app integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK and the User Messaging Platform consent SDK) to display rewarded video ads. When the ad SDK runs, Google and its advertising partners may process:
- Device and ad identifiers — the vendor identifier (IDFV), and the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you grant tracking permission;
- Ad interaction data — which ads were requested, shown, clicked, or completed, and reward verification;
- Technical device information — device model, OS version, screen size, language, network type, and app version;
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, for ad targeting and fraud prevention;
- Crash and performance diagnostics from the SDK.
The app is also configured for Apple's SKAdNetwork conversion measurement with Google's ad network, which reports aggregated, privacy-preserving attribution rather than identifying you personally.
These processes are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, and Google's own description of the data the mobile advertising SDK collects is at AdMob data disclosure for Apple App Store. We require that any partner processing data on our behalf protects it to at least the standard described here; in practice we hand over no user data ourselves, and the ad SDK's processing is Google's under its own policy.
Tracking, consent and how to say no
- On first launch the app asks, through Apple's own prompt, whether it may track you across other apps and websites for advertising. Declining changes nothing about gameplay. You can change this any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and reset your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions that require it, a Google consent form is shown before any ad is requested. If you decline there, the ad SDK is never initialised — the game then uses its in-game currency fallback for the revive option instead of watching a video, and nothing ad-related is fetched.
- You can also limit ad personalisation in your Google ad settings at any time.
Retention and deletion
Because nothing is sent to us, there is no database to purge. Your data leaves your device only in these ways: the ad SDK's own processing while ads are shown, and any backup you chose to enable. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app (press and hold the icon → Remove App → Delete App) — progress, settings and cached files go with it immediately. If you use iCloud or computer backups, delete the app's data there too via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups.
To exercise any right under GDPR/UK GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection — or under the CCPA/CPRA, write to mqqfps@163.com. We will answer within 30 days. In almost every case the honest answer is that we hold nothing about you; for anything held by Google, we will point you at Google's request channels and, if you ask us to, escalate it to them.
Children
Rocket On is not directed at children under 16, is not marketed to them, and is not listed as a children's app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe a child's information has reached us through this app, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts collecting anything, or we add a new SDK, we will update this page and raise the date at the top before shipping that version. Continued use after an update means the new version applies. The current version is always published at this address.
